MUSIC AT THE MUSEUM – Cavalier Consort

The Cavalier Consort is a group dedicated to performing lesser known music for the viola da gamba from the era of the English Civil War and Interregnum. They will perform a program of music from that era focusing on the turn of the seasons from fall into winter. The program will center on Christopher Simpson’s Winter along with theatrical music and airs and dances by composers including Matthew Locke and John Jenkins.
Tickets are $15 and include admission to the museum, $10 for seniors, students, and members – come early to tour the museum! At the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds, 286 Waverley Avenue.
