It’s not too late to donate money or gift cards for the auction.  Send your donations to the L-E PTO through your child’s blue folder.  Thank you for your support!

Mason-Rice Speaker Event: February 26th

The Mason-Rice PTO invites parents to hear about Healthy Media Strategies with Michael Rich, MD, MPH on Wednesday, February 26 at 7pm in the Centre (lower-level cafetorium).  Dr. Rich is the Director of the Center on Media and Child Health at Boston Children’s Hospital.  He has extensive experience offering research-based, balanced and practical answers to parents’, teachers’, and clinicians’ questions about children’s media use and the positive and negative implications for their health and development.  We are happy to have Dr. Rich at Mason-Rice to offer evidence-based parenting tips on the healthy use of Internet-connected technology among children.  This event is open to parents at and outside of Mason-Rice.
