Are you interested in supporting the school, meeting your child’s classmates, spending time with books, and helping out our hard-working librarians?  Consider volunteering in the school library!  The librarians are always looking for help with shelving and checking in books, and have had very few volunteers so far this year — so they’d really appreciate the help!  Time slots are flexible and always available, and it’s fun to see what happens in library class and how the kids find books and interact with each other.

All you need is about 15 minutes of training — contact secretary@lepto.org or kinneyr@newton.k12.ma.us to set up a time or with any questions!  And then check out the library’s volunteer website to see when your child’s class has library, or click here to sign up in whatever time slot works for you.
