Dear families,

A reminder that this Wednesday, Nov. 25th is an early release day, with school ending at 12pm, and there will be no school Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Some of you may have seen the Gratitude Flipgrid set up by the DLA.  We have created one for Lincoln-Eliot as well, and we would love to invite all our to students contribute to it, both hybrid and DLA!  We miss seeing everyone every day, and we thought it would be a nice way to connect all the kids.

The Flipgrid code is f39f39be.  Please sign in with an NPS email and have your kids make a short video (30 seconds or less) sharing what they are grateful for.  (Note that each video must be approved before it appears, so you won’t see it show up right away.)  Videos can be uploaded anytime between now and November 30th!

Elementary Progress Conferences
The window for fall conferences is December 2-10.  These conferences provide an opportunity for families to hear about how the school year is going, and as a key to building and strengthening home-school connections.  Teachers have been in touch directly with families with a sign up for these Zoom conferences.  Please note that Monday, December 7, and Thursday, December 10, will be “early release” days (no live afternoon instruction) for both DLA and hybrid students, to enable classroom teachers time to meet with all families.

We wish you all a wonderful, safe Thanksgiving break!  However you celebrate, we hope you have a chance to rest, take a break from screens, and go outside over the long weekend.
