Principal / PTO Update 9.27.21

Hi Families,

Due to a state-wide supply shortage of tests, COVID pool testing was delayed this past week for several NPS schools, including Lincoln-Eliot. We are scheduled to begin pool testing this week provided our supplies arrive on time. We thank parents for their patience.

On September 20, 2021, the School Committee voted to approve the revised design enrollment and space program for the Lincoln-Eliot School building project (8 in favor with one abstention).  The project will be a 20 classroom school with two dedicated special education classrooms and will have ample breakout, support and resources spaces, and cafetorium, gym, library, art and music spaces that can support enrollment growth and fluctuations.  The project will be comparable in size and design to the Angier, Cabot, and Zervas Elementary School projects but on a larger site with playground and generous green space.  The design team will now move forward to develop multiple renovation/addition and new conceptual design options to meet the space program.
