Welcome Back to School!
Hello families!
The new school year is finally here! The Lincoln-Eliot PTO is very excited to welcome everyone back, and to say hello to our incoming kindergarten families and all our new students! We’re busy planning for a year full of fun events and community building, and we can’t wait to share it all with you.
Please join us at our first PTO meeting on Monday, September 17, at 6:30pm (new date!) to find out more about how to get involved and ask us any questions you might have. You can also check out the SignUp page in the MySchoolAnywhere online directory to see a list of open positions and committees to sign up for — we’d love and appreciate your help! If you have a child at Lincoln-Eliot, you’re automatically a part of the PTO, and your ideas and participation are what make our events possible and successful. 🙂
We also hope to see everyone at the Back to School Picnic on Wednesday, September 12 from 5:30-7pm!
Happy Back to School! See you on Tuesday!
Volunteers Needed for the Back to School Picnic Sept. 12
On Wednesday, September 12th, we’ll be having our annual Back to School Picnic from 5:30-7pm on the Lincoln-Eliot playground — and we need your help to make it a success! Volunteers are needed for setup, pizza sales, the bake sale, the PTO table, and cleanup, and to bring baked goods for the dessert table. Please sign up for a half-hour time slot at this link: https://www.myschoolanywhere.com/volunteer-new.a5w?vol=LincolnEliot102238 (or contact Tui at secretary@lepto.org if you have any questions or any trouble logging in!).
Thank you for your help making this a wonderful event for the whole community! We look forward to seeing everyone there! 🙂

Get Ready for School: Sign Up for the Online Directory!
Hello families!
Welcome back to a new school year! We hope everyone has received their teacher assignment and supply list and is getting excited for Tuesday, September 4th!
One priority for the PTO this year is making sure everyone is included in our online Lincoln-Eliot directory — so if you haven’t signed up yet at join.myschoolanywhere.com, please do! There are more instructions in the email with your class list, or you can find more information and signup links on our Family Directory Page. Please email secretary@lepto.org if you have any questions.
And families who have already signed up, please login to check that your information is correct and up to date for this year! (If you have any trouble logging in, click “Forgot My Password” or email secretary@lepto.org for help.)
Why sign up for the online directory?
- To make sure you receive the weekly email updates about what’s happening at Lincoln-Eliot
- To learn about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities from the PTO
- To find classmates and new friends (and so they can find you!) (to invite you to birthday parties, for example!) 🙂
Visit join.myschoolanywhere.com to find out more, and please encourage anyone who isn’t getting the Sunday emails to go there and sign up as well. The PTO would love your help to make sure our whole community is connected and included.
Thanks very much, and have a wonderful last week of summer!
August 30th: Kindergarten Picnic
Welcome to our incoming kindergarten families!
On Thursday, August 30th, you are invited to visit your new teacher and classroom at 11:30am. Afterwards, please bring your lunch and join us on the school playground from 12-1pm for our Kindergarten Picnic! It’s a chance to meet other Lincoln-Eliot families, make new friends, and find out more about your new school. We hope to see you there! 🙂
(And to our families in the other grades, please feel free to stop by the picnic to say hello and welcome our newest students!)
